This August, the Japanese hitmaking duo, YOASOBI, comes to the East and West Coasts of the United States. Continuing on their international success, American entertainment company Crunchyroll is gearing up for them with the YOASOBI North American Tour 2026, “Never Ending Stories”. Check below for tickets in Boston, Brooklyn, Seattle, Los Angeles, and more.

Much as we have seen with Ado’s international success, the Vocaloid music scene in Japan has quietly taken the world by storm. This is a rare chance to see an enigmatic duo that’s delivered hits such as Idol [アイドル] from the anime, OSHI NO KO [推しの子], about the fictional adventures of Japanese pop idols.
About YOASOBI
A Japanese musical duo formed in 2019, made up of Ayase (composer, songwriter, and producer) and ikura (vocalist). Their concept is to make a “novel into music,” which means they turn short stories, novels, and other literary works into energetic, narrative-driven pop songs. Their sound combines J-pop, electropop, electronic rock, synth-pop, and Vocaloid into a blend of pop music. Songs frequently feature intricate structures, high energy, and storytelling lyrics.
YOASOBI stands out for creatively fusing literature with modern J-pop, delivering catchy yet emotionally layered tracks that have resonated both in Japan and internationally. Their debut song in 2019, Racing into the Night [夜に駆ける], exploded in popularity, topping Japanese charts for weeks and becoming one of the most-streamed tracks in Japan. Additional hits like Idol [アイドル], Kaibutsu [怪物], and Gunjō [群青] achieved hundreds of millions of online streams.
They’ve achieved billions of streams and diamond certifications in Japan from multiple EPs (including English versions) as well as dozens of hit singles and music videos. In live performances, they appear as a duo with a backing band. They are known for high-production shows and have become one of Japan’s biggest global music exports. They’ve had successful arena tours in Japan, made international festival appearances (like Coachella and Lollapalooza), and sold out shows worldwide.
