About LOVEBITES
A Japanese all-female power metal band from Tokyo, formed in 2016. They are known for their high technical skill, twin-guitar harmonies, powerful vocals, and lyrics performed entirely in English. Their debut, The LOVEBITES EP, was released in 2017, followed by their first full album, Awakening from Abyss, that same year.
Current members of LOVEBITES are Asami (vocals), Midori (guitars), Miyako (guitars, keyboards), Haruna (drums), and Fami (bass). Together, they play energetic power metal with heavy riffs, melodic solos, and symphonic elements. Their themes often touch on fantasy, love, war, and metal itself.
The band has toured internationally and built a strong following in Japan and overseas. Moreover, they are regarded as one of the leading acts in Japan’s female-fronted metal scene.
