Announced on September 16, the brand-new Japanese metal band Zilqy is set to make its debut with an EP this November. Notably, Zilqy is more than a few unknowns stepping into the J-rock scene; the all-female quartet features two musicians that fans of Aldious and LOVEBITES will recognize.
New Look And Sound For Nu Metal
From Aldious, guitarist Toki leads with a striking new look and is set to shred hard for the melodic nu metal band. The other familiar face on bass is Miho, who left LOVEBITES in 2021 and has since been working as a support musician. On drums, they have Kano, who previously worked with metalcore groups, Dimrays, and UNDYING WORDS. And as the final spark, enigmatic new vocalist Anna is poised to ignite the scene with a voice and presence that promise to leave fans in awe.

Zilqy will release the EP Vacant Throne on November 5, 2025, and then debut with their first performance, Start The Fire, on December 10, 2025, at SPACE ODD in Tokyo.
